The University of Coimbra is the oldest Portuguese university and one of the oldest in the world. It was considered a World Heritage Site in 2014.
In addition to its splendid architectural heritage, it also has a unique traditional component still very present. You can witness it in the use of "Capa e Batina", and in the irreverent spirit well demarcated in the student body.
The oldest Portuguese students' association, the Academic Association of Coimbra, could not be left out, always at the forefront of defending student rights and maintaining Coimbra's tradition.

Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Coimbra
Polo III
The Faculty of Pharmacy was officially established as such in 1921 and has been evolving ever since. Nowadays it has around 1500 students and is in the vanguard of research and teaching of the pharmaceutical sciences. Since 2009, the Faculty of Pharmacy can be found at the Healthcare Sciences Campus, located near the Universitarian Hospital of Coimbra.
Green Park
Coimbra's Green Park is one of the biggest green spaces in the city. Parted by the river Mondego, it is the idyllic location to spend your day and relax.
National Pharmacies Association
ANF
The National Pharmacies Association, in portuguese ANF, was founded in 1975 and represents the owners of the majority, 95%, of the portuguese pharmacies. Its mission is to make pharmacies the primary health care network most valued by the Portuguese people.
Bluepharma
Bluepharma is a Portuguese pharmaceutical industry of excellence, whose headquarters are located in Coimbra. Its work is centered on the production, investigation, development and commercialization of medical products, following high-quality standards. It is the first pharmaceutical industry with integrated certification by the FDA and the majority of its income comes from exportation.
